On 2 June 2026, ESITS successfully delivered the first pilot of its new Prolyte LiteDeck Modular Decking Course at DM Stages in Cheltenham.
Hosted by DM Stages, the pilot course brought together delegates from the DM Stages team, local crew members, and a representative from The Jockey Club. The course was designed to provide participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely assemble, inspect, and work with Prolyte LiteDeck modular decking systems.
The pilot was a great success, receiving positive feedback from both DM Stages management and staff. The course combined both theoretical and practical elements, allowing delegates to develop their understanding of modular decking systems while gaining valuable hands-on experience.
ESITS would like to extend its sincere thanks to Darryl Mills and the team at DM Stages for hosting the pilot course at their Cheltenham premises and for their support throughout the development and delivery process. Their involvement played an important role in ensuring the success of the course and provided an excellent environment for testing and refining the training programme.
The successful delivery of the pilot marks an important milestone for ESITS as it continues to expand its specialist training portfolio for the events, staging, and entertainment industries. Following the positive feedback received, the Prolyte LiteDeck Modular Decking Course will now become available to book through the ESITS website, providing individuals and organisations with access to dedicated training on this widely used decking system.
