Last Tuesday, ESITS had the pleasure of attending the Layher “Sizzle and Learn” Open Morning at their Letchworth centre, joining industry professionals for a highly engaging and informative event.

As a key product partner, ESITS shares a strong relationship with Layher. With the Letchworth facility also operating as an approved ESITS Training Centre, the collaboration is built on a shared commitment to quality, innovation, and delivering industry-leading training.

The open morning, which attracted a strong turnout from across the sector, provided valuable insight into Layher’s systems and approach. Attendees had the opportunity to experience live demonstrations and explore practical applications of products in real-world environments, reinforcing the importance of hands-on learning and collaboration.

A key highlight of the event was the focus on digital innovation, including tools such as the SIM2Field XR application, which allows scaffold designs to be visualised in 3D within real-world settings. This generated significant interest among attendees and demonstrated how digital solutions are enhancing planning, communication, and project delivery across the industry.

Representing ESITS on the day were Mike Dean, Simon Hughes, and Hayley Shepherd, who engaged with attendees, shared insights, and supported discussions around the application of Layher Event Systems within the events sector.

Beyond the demonstrations, the “Sizzle and Learn” format encouraged open conversation and networking, allowing contractors, partners, and industry professionals to exchange ideas and explore solutions in an informal setting. This balance of technical content and collaboration was widely praised and reflects the growing demand for practical, experience-led learning.

ESITS is proud to work alongside Layher and to support initiatives that bring innovation, training, and partnership to the forefront of the industry. We look forward to continuing our collaboration and strengthening the delivery of Layher System solutions across future projects and events.

A big thank you to Layher for hosting such a successful and insightful morning.
