We were proud to attend The Showman’s Show 2026 for the fourth consecutive year, continuing our commitment to raising standards of safety, knowledge, and competency across the events industry through the Event Structures Industry Training Scheme.

Originally developed in response to the growing need for formalised training and assessment within the sector, ESITS continues to play a vital role in supporting safe systems of work across live event environments. From small-scale operations to the most complex temporary demountable structures, the scheme is designed to meet the real-world demands of our industry.

At its core, ESITS offers a structured programme of training and accreditation, created in collaboration with some of the UK’s most respected event organisations and leading industry safety bodies. This ensures a robust, relevant framework that gives employers and contractors confidence that ESITS-accredited individuals meet the highest standards of knowledge, skill, and professional behaviour.

From the entry-level General Events Crew Operative (GECO) course through to the advanced Temporary Demountable Structures (TDS) Master qualification, every stage of the scheme is built to reflect the challenges faced on site, equipping operatives with the tools they need to work safely and effectively.

This year’s show was another fantastic opportunity to connect with event professionals, share insights into the scheme, and continue supporting the industry in delivering safe, sound, and secure events. We’d like to thank everyone who took the time to visit and speak with us, it’s always valuable to engage with those who are just as passionate about improving standards across the sector.

We’re already looking ahead to next year.
