Overview

Objectives

The aim of this course is to equip attendees with basic competency to work in the events industry, and to provide labouring support during the erection, dismantling and modification of temporary demountable structures. Attendees will gain theoretical knowledge of health and safety requirements to assist them as a new entrant in the events industry.

Certification

Upon successful completion of this course, attendees will be awarded an ESITS certificate, which will enable them to apply for an ESITS Crew Operative card.

Progress

Following successful completion for this course and attainment of the required site experience, attendees will be eligible to attend at the TDS Trainee Technician course.

Requirements

No previous qualifications or experience is required to attend this course, as it is aimed at events industry new entrants.
