Our first ESITS exhibition experience at PLASA

With the word spreading about ESITS we set our top team to share all things ESITS with those attending the PLASA exhibition at Olympia on 3^rd to 5^th September.

PLASA is an international exhibition for entertainment technology, showcasing the latest technological advancements from the worlds of audio, AV, lighting, rigging and staging and is regarded as the main show for the industry.

Our trusty team of Simon Hughes, Managing Director, Mike Dean, ESITS Scheme Director and Adam Sherlock, ESITS Sales had a busy three days meeting with event and entertainment companies and catching up with some existing customers too. It was also a great opportunity to hear about the latest developments in the industry too with the PLASA show talks.

As Simon commented:

This was our first attendance at PLASA to promote the new Event Structures Industry Training Scheme (ESITS) to the wider event and live entertainment market. It proved a great opportunity to meet with organisers and employers and outline the benefits that ESITS will bring as the recognised training and accreditation scheme for those working on all aspects of temporary demountable structures.

It was also great to walk around the exhibition and see some of the leading-edge entertainment technology that is being employed in the sector. Well done PLASA!

With our first exhibition successfully completed, the ESITS team will be on stand at the Showman’s Show at the Newbury Showground on 18^th and 19^th October. Do come along and say hello.  We’d love to see you there.
